“Just had a new oil furnace installed in my old house. This company was easy to work with, gave me a fair price, but the install was top notch. The technicians were respectful, answered all my questions, and went over everything I would need to know to keep this unit running perfect. When they were done everything was actually cleaner than when they got there. On the initial fire up of the unit, it was super quiet and warmed up the house much quicker than my 30 year old unit. I highly recommend this company. Since it's not that cold yet, I'll do a follow up as to the brand of furnace and how it goes through the winter.”

“This is a long review, but I wanted to highlight a few people and provide examples of why I gave A&S five stars. If you want the summary, skip to the last paragraph. Two days before Christmas we woke to 57 degrees - in the house. After asking around and searching, we filled out an online form with an HVAC company requesting service, who, after texting me immediately to say they received the request and would contact me right away - ghosted me. I waited, assuming many people were in our position and they were busy. Finally, I reached out to them - since I didn't have a maintenance contract with them, they couldn't see me until the week of Jan 6th. They didn't even take my name; they just ended the call. A friend recommended A&S. I called immediately and heard a message saying it was after business hours. My heart sank, but I left a message explaining that I currently did not have heat, did not have a maintenance contract with them, and hoped I would hear back the next day. To my surprise, my phone rang LESS THAN 5 MINUTES later. The woman was so kind and said a field tech would call me back as she didn't know if they were taking non clients for emergencies at that time. Again, within a few minutes, a Tech named Jared called me. Jared was kind and supportive, but they were already booked solid throughout the evening and told me to call the office as soon as they opened the following day to see if the front desk could get me in on Christmas Eve. Jared also took the time to discuss the size of my house, how many space heaters I should borrow from friends and family, and the best places to position them around our home. Jared did all this while in the field, after hours, doing emergency repairs. First thing Christmas Eve, I spoke with a lovely woman named Joann in the A&S office. Joann was sympathetic, listened, and appreciated our situation. She checked the schedule, and they were packed (and trying their best to get field techs home to their families on Christmas Eve). Instead of leaving it at that, she got up from her desk and spoke with the owner! The owner was very sympathetic, but they were packed to capacity in the schedule. But they could schedule me for the day after Christmas, first thing in the morning. And I took it. I was in the 8:00-12:00 slot. I received a text at 7:30 informing me that the tech was on his way! The tech pulled up in front of my home at 7:59! Ricardo was polite and respectful. Listened as I explained the details of what was occurring with the boiler. He didn't ask to speak to my husband and didn't patronize me because I was a woman. He was focused and diligent without dragging out the time he was troubleshooting the issues. Ricardo took the time to explain the two issues to my husband and again to me, just because we didn't happen to be simultaneously in the same room. Ricardo also recommended an approach to the fix that was more cost-effective for us but of the same quality. Ricardo also discovered that the new thermostat I purchased two days earlier was NOT working!! And he took the time to show me where the tiny metal connectors that were supposed to clamp onto the red heating wire were missing!! He took the time to disconnect the wire in the thermostat so I could run out to HD after he had finished. I was highly impressed with the quality of the service we received from A&S. However, there was more. Every interaction I had was with a person who listened and treated me with respect. They didn't rush me off the phone. They weren't dismissive. They were human beings. I want to work with this type of company to help maintain my home and keep it safe for my family.”
